The CRC pursues three goals: the comparative, analytical, and theoretical study of human differentiation.
CRC Project Areas
Our three project areas are working towards these goals with different empirical approaches:
- Project Area A: Bodies and Performances
- Project Area B: Mobility and Sorting Processes
- Project Area C: Human Limits and Material Infrastructure
Overarching Projects
Overarching all projects and project areas and working in parallel with them, Project T is explicitly dedicated to developing a social theory of human differentiation.
With the Public Relations Project the CRC aims to transfer cultural-scientific knowledge to and communicate with publics outside of academia.
